This is my latest independent work. With this piece the goal was to step up everything I had been doing in my previous two pieces. The mediums used are still the same but the craftsmanship and quality turned out a lot better. This is my favorite of the three I have made so far and I especially like the red in the background and the layers that the silhouettes create. The fade in around the edges (done in Photoshop) really adds to the entire piece I think.

ReplyDeleteI really like the new direction you're headed in with these pieces. The arrows in these pieces really help to unify your designs. I like how each piece has a different "theme" and i can't wait to see the next one. Your preliminary looked awesome.
Kev, you are really finding your concentration with these peices, along with developing your graphic design skills. I've loved watching your different peices grow off one another! I like the use of red in this one, however i am not so crazy about the black shading around the edges, but that's just me. It looks a little overdone, but overall, it looks good :)
